raw showcase

Showcasing my work at a RAW Brisbane show was such an incredible experience.

I really enjoy creating work that I can take from digital to a tangible product. Something that I can hold in my hands and physically share with others. The showcase allowed me to do just that and then also interact with my community in real time, and meet a bunch of new people.

I love the whole vibe of the RAW showcase. You do your thing and put it out there. You can get as creative as you like. And it gave me an excuse to create enamel pins which is something I'd always wanted to do. It's such a buzz to create something and then see people wear and enjoy your thing!

On the night I showcased my Nature > Human series and Emo Animal series. I sold prints of both collections along with my Emo Animal pins. I also had the background pattern of one of the Emo Animal illustrations printed on fabric and made the dress I was wearing so I was fully in the celebration of my theme.

A huge thanks to Michael Coppola for capturing these moments.
